Begins offering Surplus Lines Paper Nationally

LIGHTNING RELEASES: Los Angeles, CA (1/21/2015) – Knight Insurance Group, a provider of capital support and underwriting capability for niche insurance program business, today announced the entry of Knight Specialty Insurance Company into the surplus lines program community.

Knight Specialty Insurance Company is a Delaware insurer rated A-, Financial Size Category VIII, by A.M. Best. Knight Specialty is wholly owned by Knight Insurance Company, Ltd., a Cayman reinsurer, and is managed by the Knight Insurance Group of Los Angeles, California. Knight Specialty is authorized to write excess and surplus lines business in 47 states.
