LIGHTNING RELEASES (6/19/2014) – The opening ceremony of “Sound in Colour—Mostra Wang Qingzhou” was held on June 4 at Golden Palace in Turin, Italy.
More than 100 overseas Chinese attended the opening ceremony, including Mangialardi—Chairman of Golden Palace (a five-star hotel in Italy), Chen Ming—Chairman of ANGI, Alfredo Centofanti—an artist, Ms. Annamaria Salinarinnamaria—a curator, etc.
In an on-site interview with Italian Central TV, Mr. Mangialardi said: “Mr. Wang Qingzhou is not only an expert on traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting but also a passionate and talented contemporary artist. Therefore, he is selected as the first Chinese member of the art youth program. Mr. Wang’s paintings and his on-the-spot Chinese calligraphy demonstration help us gain a better understanding of the significant development in Chinese art.”
Deng Yuan, an expatriate zither artist, performed several classic melodies for the guests,including Three Stanza of Plum-blossoms and Notturno in the Fisher boat.（Caoyang）
