Cenique’s Android Networked Device Manager Solution Now Available for Digital Signage Content Management Software Providers

LIGHTNING RELEASES: Charlotte, NC, Tampa, FL (9/17/2014)- Cenique has released it’s Android Device Management System (CDMS) to enable remote access and control of Cenique Android Media Players at any location via a standard web browser. The application, typically used in digital signage applications, provides the ability to remotely manage and troubleshoot any player, including viewing detailed statuses, connectivity history, and even retrieve screenshots of what is currently being displayed.

The CDMS enables users to remotely determine if a Cenique Media Player is online, reboot the device, as well as organize and search for devices based on tags. It also gives users the functionality to install, move to/from System App status, delete or restart an application on the media player.

“We are excited to offer this new capability to our Wondersign and Rise Vision customers and to other CMS companies with Android solutions” said Cenique President Ron Levac. “CDMS is a critical tool for network operators and resellers, providing key functionality to keep digital sign networks up and running 24/7/365 and provide routine device maintenance.”

The solution provides users with management and organizational tools for three tiers of access, allowing Content Management Software (CMS) companies to provide their resellers and in turn their customers access to the appropriate devices and functions. For example, this allows a reseller the ability to manage, troubleshoot, and actually see the display without having to make a site visit.

“This solution provides important capabilities for any CMS provider offering Android-based solutions. Cenique’s CDMS makes remote management of digital signage networks easier and subsequently helps increasing customer satisfaction.” said Andy Reinhard, CEO of the cloud-based digital media distribution service Wondersign.

The solution is currently available for Wondersign and Rise Vision Media Players via Cenique’s online store and is being offered as a licensed solution to device OEM and CMS providers needing a remote device management solution for their Android based deployments.

New low dose NSAID just one alternative for Arthritis

LIGHTNING RELEASES (9/9/2014) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has expanded the use of a new version of diclofenac to manage osteoarthritis pain. Zorvolex, available only by prescription, is a low-dose nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID). It has been on the market since October 2013, when it was first approved to treat mild to moderate acute pain in adults.

Zorvolex was designed to address growing concerns about the potentially fatal side effects of all NSAIDs – particularly the increased risk of cardiovascular and gastrointestinal (GI) problems, including heart attack, stroke, GI bleeding, GI ulceration and GI perforation.

The FDA stresses there have not been any studies to show that Zorvolex reduces the cardiovascular and GI side effects associated with NSAIDs simply because it involves a lower dose. “We do not know if the dose reduction is sufficient to result in a difference because the company has not conducted any head-to-head safety studies with any other diclofenac product,” explains Sharon Hertz, the FDA’s Deputy Director, Division of Anesthesia, Analgesia, and Addiction Products.

Perhaps a more viable alternative to NSAIDS is the natural pain reliever from Australia, sold under the brand of Outback Pain Relief. Hailed by the Australian Natural Pain Relief Industry as one of the greatest natural pain relievers of all time, the Outback Series is manufactured using Australian essential oils of Eucalyptus (Analgesic) and Tea Tree Oil (anti-inflammatory).

Launched in late 2013 in the USA, the Outback Pain Relief is now available in all Walgreens stores across the country and the eye catching packaging sports the traditional Aboriginal colors, which reflects the traditional bush medicine upon which the technology is based.

Mark Linford, the CEO of Pain Away LLC, the company responsible for marketing Outback in the USA, says there are several distinct advantages with this all natural pain reliever.

“Outback contains only natural ingredients and does not adversely conflict with any other medications, making it an excellent choice for the elderly. Plus the product does not generate heat or cold and smells quite pleasant so as a topical it has great consumer appeal. The most important factor is the effectiveness of the product on all forms of arthritis, plus muscular pain including low back pain.”

“Plus we have absolutely no side effects and the product can be used as often as required, providing great flexibility to increase usage frequency if the pain is severe. Outback becomes a real lifestyle product and demand has been extremely strong” he said.
