LIGHTNING RELEASES (12/23/2014) – A group of artists and technicians under the banner of http://ift.tt/1zga32x are seeking a law firm with the clout to take on Sony Pictures for intellectual property theft and breach matters.
The group claims they worked with Sony Pictures and got “ripped off”. They have tried to get Sony to come to the table, or even take a phone call, to discuss the situation but say they only got a “just sue us” letter from Sony Pictures.
The group has shown a number of contracts, personal communications, federal documents and videos which appear to confirm their position. Prior to the Sony Hack, all of their evidence was from in-house communications between the artists and Sony but the hack appears to have offered new confirming validation in favor of the artists.
