Surrey BC. Simran Gill. Vancouver Sun reported Voters ready for change, new poll finds, has upset the purported Polls by Surrey First, Safe Surrey and other politically motivated polls to garner support in Municipal Elections.
“Today Vancouver Sun put to rest, our agenda of New Mayor Change Surrey”, said Mayoral Vikram Bajwa
Is your local Government doing a good job or a bad job ?, was the basis of the report written by Randy Shore. Vancouver got 62% Bad score, Abbotsford 68 % bad, Surrey 58 % bad on Homelessness and poverty, on crime Surrey received 67% bad, Vancouver 28%, Maple Ridge 57% bad. Transparency and engaging Voters, had Richmond at 55% bad, Maple Ridge 50% bad and Langley at 53% worse.
Beyond the frustration over Crime, Transportation, Wards, people don’t feel they are being heard. Surrey City Hall, South Surrey Casino, strategy of Surrey First, led to an overwhelming of Voters against the Local Government with 69% calling for Change.
Mayoral Vikram Bajwa is leading the change with 58% approval ratings, ahead of Linda Hepner, Doug MCcallum and Barinder Rasode, said Natalie Simson, a UBC Student.
